The apartment buildings at Hringhamar 10 to 14 are rising with a requirement for integrated piping systems: heating, domestic water, drainage, sprinkler systems and fire protection. Rennsli is delivering the plumbing as a subcontractor to VHE, handing over each work package through a formal material approval process.
From challenge to certified handover
The challenge
In an apartment building the interplay between the systems is everything: heating, domestic water and fire protection have to fit into tight service routes and comply with the specification and European standards, while the building's progress sets the pace.
Approach and delivery
Every component, from sprinkler systems to fire hose reels and sanitary fixtures, goes through a formal material approval in which compliance with standards such as EN 671 is demonstrated before materials reach the building.
Handover and traceability
The systems are installed and tested in step with the structural work and fit-out, with documented approvals and tests that follow the apartments all the way to handover.
